DESCRIPTION:Join us for our annual historic landscape preservation fundraiser at Massee Lane Garden in Fort Valley. The nine acre garden holds one of the world’s finest collections of camellias. The Garden began as the private garden of David C. Strother in the 1930s. Mr. Strother donated this land to the American Camellia Society for its headquarters in 1966. Additional gardens of roses\, daffodils\, daylilies\, chrysanthemums\, azaleas\, flowering trees\, annuals and perennials provide year round beauty. Click here for details and registration form. All venues do not have wifi to use\, so please download the GCG Awards Application before coming to the workshop. We will have time in the presentation for tips about preparing an application.\n\nFor Leadership Workshops: Be aware of Changes:\nChanges have occurred at the GCG Leadership level. DESCRIPTION:The Camellia District will dedicate a Blue Star Memorial Marker at  Rest Area 88 on I-16 West Bound in Dublin-Laurens County. \nDirections from Macon and I-75 South: Take I-16 East to Exit 49-Highway 257 in Laurens County. Turn left onto Highway 257\, cross over the Interstate and take the West Bound I-16 ramp back toward Macon. The Rest Area will be about a mile up the road on the right. \nDirections from the Coast or East: Take I-16 West toward Dublin and Macon.
