DESCRIPTION:Each year our NOGS Chair creates a them that reflects her interests to share with our guests. It makes it more creative and adds interest. We’ve had Serving up Southern Hospitality\, Gardens as Art: Art in the Gardens and most recently\, Beyond the Garden Gate: the Iconic Ironwork of Savannah. Savannah is a small town with a big heart and a thriving storytelling culture.\n\nNOGS Tour of Hidden Gardens will be April 25 & 26\, 2025\n\n\nFollow us on Facebook and Instagram @gardenclubsav for updates.\n\n\n\nWe will be stitching the stories of Savannah throughout the year. Our new theme\, Savannah’s Gardens: Pieces and Places. Era Hall is at home in her garden and with a needle and thread. Some of her most powerful memories come from the quilting tradition.\n\n\n\nAs the next few months fly by we will learn the stories of Savannah. Gardens and quilts share a rich history.\n\n\n\nDid anyone ever make a quilt for you? \nNorth of Gaston Street the NOGS Tour of Hidden Gardens is an annual fundraiser of the Garden Club of Savannah to support horticultural projects. \nIs there a fabric that reminds you of someone special in your life? SUMMARY:NOGS Tour of Hidden Gardens
DESCRIPTION:The Garden Club of Savannah\, a large club of 120+ members hosts the annual NOGS Tour of Hidden Gardens. For the past two years\, we have raised $100\,000 tot fund projects ranging from $500 for pollinator gardens to $5000 which helped to build gardens and landscape the Tiny Homes project for veterans. All tickets are considered donations as ticket proceeds infuse the Savannah community with beautification\, conservation and education projects. NOGS attracts visitors to Savannah from over 40 states\, two provinces\, and several countries! We offer three levels of participation including a premium Trolley Tour package\, the Traditional Southern Tea and Garden Tour\, and the Garden-Walking-Tour only. Tickets go on sale November 15 and typically sell out by Valentine’s Day so plan ahead! We hope to see you this year at our Beyond the Garden Gate: Celebrating Savannah’s Iconic Ironwork tour scheduled for April 19 & 20\, 2024.
