Christmas at the Fort in Fort Gaines

The Fort Gaines Home and Garden Club will sponsor its 48th annual Christmas at the Fort in Fort Gaines on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Except for 2020 during the pandemic, the club has been holding the arts and crafts festival annually on the Saturday before Thanksgiving since 1974. It will be held as usual on the river bluff at the Fort Gaines Woman’s Clubhouse, Frontier Village, Boy Scout Hut, Toll House, and surrounding area. Over 140 vendors will be offering Christmas decorations, jewelry, ironworks, boutique items and gifts, and your favorite fair foods for your shopping pleasure and dining enjoyment. Santa Claus will be there for the children as well as pony rides and games. Please come to Ft. Gaines and enjoy Christmas at the Fort, a friendly fall festival in a beautiful setting.
