Georgia Daffodil Society’s 2025 Flower Show

March 7 @ 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm

The Georgia Daffodil Society, now in its 71st year, is hosting its annual show on 7 – 8 March 2025 in Child Hall of the beautiful Cathedral of St. Philip, 2744 Peachtree Road NW, Atlanta, Georgia 30305.

The show is open to the public on Friday, 7 March from 12:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Saturday, 8 March from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Visitors will be mesmerized by our display of daffodils in horticulture and design. Additionally, there will be educational exhibits, a photography show and expert presentations, including one on historic daffodils presented by Dr. Janet Hickman, past president of the American Daffodil Society, and another on flower arranging with daffodils, presented by Maidee Spencer. In collaboration with the North Georgia Council of Flower Show Judges and with support of exhibitors from near and far, both within the Georgia Daffodil Society, American Daffodil Society, Garden Club of Georgia and more, this promises to be our best show yet!

You are cordially invited to come out and enjoy the show. On Saturday, be sure to patronize the diverse array of vendors at the Peachtree Road Farmers Market, which is held on the premises of the Cathedral. While you are being inspired by daffodils, the Georgia Daffodil Society will afford you the opportunity to preorder bulbs for fall planting. Best of all, profits from the Market support food banks in Atlanta, allowing us all to play our part in taking care of the food insecure.

While we would love to have the show floor overflowing with flower lovers desiring to see the show, we would be equally thrilled to welcome you as an exhibitor. Whether you have daffodils in the garden or photographs of daffodils you have taken through the years, there are multiple opportunities for you to exhibit. You will have two windows of opportunity to enter your flowers or photos. Setup day is on Thursday, 6 March, 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., and entries will also be accepted on Friday, 7 March, 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. New/novice exhibitors are advised to download the schedule to a laptop/tablet or print it off from our website. The schedule covers all rules and requirements regarding horticulture and photography entries. Darrin Ellis-May – an American Daffodil Societyaccredited judge and very capable exhibitor, who has taken Best in Show and other major prizes – will be demonstrating how to enter/stage daffodils on Thursday, 6 March at 1:00 p.m. This presentation will be invaluable for first-timers, and we hope to see you there.

Meanwhile, inquiries can be made to show co-chairs, Jaydee Ager (478) 396-4719 and Greg Freeman (864) 979-4318.

General Admission Times Friday, March 7, 2025, 1:00 P.M. – 4:00 P.M. & Saturday, March 8, 2025, 8:00 A.M. – 1:00 P.M.

The Daffodil Discovery Zone The Daffodil Discovery Zone is a great place for kids who visit the show to have the opportunity to learn about the Life Cycle, up-close and personal with Daffodils. It provides a fun experience, and we believe many children will gain a lifelong interest and appreciation of Daffodils! Adult supervision within the flower show is required.
