Scholarships

The Garden Club of Georgia, Inc. provides scholarships to deserving Georgia college students majoring in any garden-related subject in an accredited college or university in Georgia.

Funding for scholarships is derived from many sources including fundraisers, Life Memberships, the Patron of Scholarship program, donations, and special projects.

We have developed a  "Named Scholarship" program; for a minimum of $1,000, an individual or organization may be honored with a scholarship in their name. The names of the honored individuals/organizations are maintained in our Archives and are published on this website and in Garden Gateways.

Judging of recipients for the scholarships is based on need, scholastic record, character, initiative, and general attitude. Scholarship winners are selected by the Scholarship Committee of the Garden Club of Georgia, Inc.
