
Great Southeast Pollinator Census 2025
August 22 - August 23
The Great Southeast Pollinator Census is a citizen science project created by the University of Georgia. Now
open to residents of Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, and Alabama, the project is designed for
everyone to participate and make a difference for pollinator conservation!
Interested in joining the count this year? Here’s how:
1. Sign up for the newsletter.
2. Prepare for the count days on August 22nd and 23rd:
• Download the printable Counting Sheet
• Check out the Insect Counting & Identification Guide
• Review the Pollinator Census pamphlet
3. Upload your counts to the Pollinator Census webpage. The portal to upload counts will open early on
