Legacy Leaders
Legacy Leaders of The Garden Club of Georgia, Inc. is a way to recognize our rich history built by the thousands of women and men who have participated in garden club efforts over the years. These members, whether in a garden club or serving on the board, have made a dedicated commitment to embrace our theme of Beautification, Conservation and Education. They have made the Garden Club of Georgia organization what it is today. And with that in mind, let’s celebrate them!

We want to recognize all those members who have turned 90 as of July 1, 2026. Each year we will recognize those who turned ninety by July 1 of the current year.
A certificate will be given to each inductee with hopes that their individual clubs and their District will do something special to honor them accordingly. Honorees will be recognized in a PowerPoint presentation at the District meetings, announced at our annual convention, posted on our GCG website, and listed annually in Garden Gateways.
President Diane Hunter created a similar program for The DeKalb Federation of Garden Clubs nine years ago. Its success has prompted the idea of honoring these incredible and deserving members throughout the entire State of Georgia. Please help us fulfill this beautiful new way to recognize our very special Legacy Leaders.
