American Daffodil Society Southeast Region Show Returns to Atlanta Area in 2024
The Georgia Daffodil Society was overwhelmed by the enthusiastic support of its fellow Garden Club of Georgia members who showed up and showed out to make the American Daffodil Society National Show in Atlanta this past spring a rousing success! It was an amazing event none of us will forget.
In 2024, the Georgia Daffodil Society and North Georgia Council of Flower Show Judges will present the American Daffodil Society Southeast Region Show, a National Garden Clubs Small Standard Flower Show, which will offer divisions in Horticulture, Design and Education. The show will be held on March 8 and 9, 2024 at Johns Creek Baptist Church, Family Life Center, 6910 McGinnis Ferry Road, Alpharetta, Georgia 30005.
Setup is to take place on Thursday, March 7. Horticulture entries can be staged and entered on Thursday as well as Friday morning prior to judging. The American Daffodil Society Southeast Regional Show will be open to the public from 12:30 pm to 4 pm on Friday, March 8 and from 9:30 am to 1 pm on Saturday, March 9.
Additionally, the Georgia Daffodil Society is sponsoring a daffodil photography show, which will be held in conjunction with the ADS Southeast Region Show. Entries are welcomed from near and far.
On Friday and Saturday, respectively, attendees can take in informative talks by former ADS president Becky Fox Matthews and current GDS president Greg Freeman.
Past American Daffodil Society President Becky Fox Matthews will speak at 1 PM on Friday.
Georgia Daffodil Society President Greg Freeman will present a talk and slide show Daffodils in Art at 1 pm on Saturday.
