Blue Star Marker Renovation or What a difference a day can make!

One fine Saturday in October of 2022, the Blue Star Marker located in Plains, Georgia at the Welcome Center on GA Highway 280 got a wonderful face lift by restoration expert, Tom Stelling. The marker went from remarkably aged to youthful in the course of one day! May it now age slowly and gracefully for a good many years!
Magnolia District installed the Plains, Georgia Blue Star Marker on January 19th, of 1980. It has aged well. Photos below show the aged version and the renovated version. By: Janice Cliett
