UNIT 1 — LINE AND LINE MASS (August 19, 2024)
1. A line design with emphasis on the Oriental Influence
2. Line Mass design of American origin.
II. UNIT 2 — MASS DESIGN (September 16, 2024)
Students will do two designs.
1. Floral mass design
2. Foliage mass design
III. UNIT 3 — DINING TABLES (October 21, 2024)
Students will do two designs
1. One tall design
2. One low design
IV. UNIT 4 — DESIGNS USING FRUITS AND VEGETABLES (November 18, 2024)
Students will do two designs
1) Williamsburg newel post mass arrangement
2) Morimono – “piling up”
V. UNIT 5 — CREATIVE DESIGNS AND PETITE DESIGNS (December 16, 2024)
Students will do three designs:
1. Creative line/mass design
2. Creative mass/tapestry in a box
3. 12” Creative Petite Design
