What A Difference A Day Makes! The Blue Star Marker on Hwy 27 at the Naval Civil War Museum

On an outstanding day in December of 2023, the Blue Star Marker located on Highway 27 at the Naval Civil War Museum in Columbus, Georgia got a wonderful face lift by restoration expert, Tom Stelling. The marker went from remarkable aged to youthful in the course of one day! May it now age slowly and gracefully for a good many years!
The Columbus Council of Garden Clubs of Columbus Georgia installed the Columbus, Georgia Blue Star Marker on November 28, 1978. It has aged well. The photos show the aged version and the renovated version.
